How to draw an ice skater
About a little over a week ago here in my little corner of the world, we had one of the biggest snow storms in history. We really did not get a lot of snow maybe 4-6 inches but on top of the snow was about 2 inches of sleet/ice. I mean you can literally ice skate in my yard everywhere. When you walk across the yard you don’t sink down in the snow like usual you just kind of slide across.
So normally this girl born in Iceland absolutely loves the snow, but this stuff is something I’m not loving because it is quite dangerous. We still have areas that we have not been able to clear off. We had to get a plow for our driveway because it was a solid sheet of ice and every time we tried to tackle it someone would fall. It took days to chisel off the sidewalks of our home and a sweet neighbor of ours.
Here is what it looked like. Everything is shiny from it being ice on top not just snow.
So since this is what I’ve been dealing with over here, I thought a drawing tutorial of an ice skater would be appropriate. I actually wish I had some ice skates so I could safely make it to my shed!
So grab any piece of paper and a pencil and join me.
First we will draw the head using a nice circle shape. Then follow each picture step by step.
One you have drawn the skater feel free to draw a skating rink and add some trees or whatever you would like. I hope you enjoyed this tutorial. If you end up drawing one, send me a photo in the comments or email it to me. I love seeing other peoples master pieces! Happy Drawing!
